10.22.22 We parked right up front on the street. It wasn't really busy when we showed up. Several 1 person and a couple, couples. Our coffees came fast and service was fast. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Food also came out super fast and good portions for the price. Overall a great experience.
This is one of my favorite breakfast places. I go here with my girlfriend from time to time. It’s really simple and small but the vibe is just right. Expectations are realistic, prices are totally reasonable and I always enjoy my meal. We had a tuna sandwich and Ashley’s Special 2 for lunch. (Well brunch) service is always quick. The only suggestion I would have is that they really should take payments at the table. You have to get up to pay at the front register.
Great place for a quick and affordable breakfast/brunch! The coffee was really good for a diner type place as well. Clean, great service, and the food was prepared quickly and perfectly. Cute old diner feel, but very clean (stands out as most old diners are on the grimy side) As soon as we were finished and sat back in the booth a guy noticed and took our plates away. We were checked on often, but not in an annoying or imposing way. We will be going back next time we’re in town for sure!
My mom and I stopped here for breakfast, and were so pleased with our experience. Service was wonderful, food was delicious. I especially loved the homefries/potato and my mom loved her corned beef and French toast. If I lived in the area, I would return!
The food was delicious! Authentic, felt like a home cooked meal. The staff were super friendly, parking was easy and they didn’t rush us out.
Do to the service on Valentines Day morning, it was nice to have someone really welcome the customer with a great smile. At the of our breakfast, it did tip $20, and it was only 3 of us at the table. I definitely will be back.
We went there for breakfast on a weekend. There was no wait, and everything went really well. The servers did a good job and the food was really good. That diner is a nice place overall and good for a bite on the go.
Probably some of the best service… in Hartford CT …. My compliments to the chef and the staff were being 100% professional. Will definitely be coming back & recommending to my friends.
This is an authentic, from scratch local eatery. I got a veggie omelet ((too big to finish) and the home fries with onions which were deeeeeelicious and full of crispy little bits of onions. So good. The service was excellent And they did not get annoyed with my continual coffee cup refills. It was exactly the vibe I wanted--kind of like having breakfast at someone's house rather than acrancy-schmancy eatery.
